Obtaining
Ancient Metal can be dropped by Ancient Idols or other Idol mobs in the vicinity of the Dernel Jungle.

Usage
Ancient Metal can be sold at a Blacksmith or from your Ingredient Pouch in exchange for Emeralds. It can also be traded to other players via the Trade Market or personal trading.
The mini-quest Slay Idols requires the player to gather 18 Ancient Metal.
