Ancient Nemract, once a very important port to the Wynn Province where emeralds were shipped from to every corner of the province, was the first town to get destroyed by the awakened Nether army led by the Corrupter of Worlds. Level 20 Ancient Nemract Citizens and Level 20-25 Skeletons spawn around the ruins of the city, and the powerful Sun God will also occasionally spawn here. Level 28 Rotten Skeletons spawn around and beneath the Lost Tower, an important area in the Lost Tower quest. At the end of the tunnels below the Lost Tower is the Rotten Necromancer, the level 31 boss of Lost Tower. Below the coliseum of Ancient Nemract is a cave housing the entrance to the Underworld Crypt, as well as the corresponding Key Collector.

Buildings

  • A couple of ruined buildings are located in the area; however, the Lost Tower stands out, as in's an important area in the Lost Tower quest.

Trivia

  • The look of the ruins might give the player the idea that they are far older than Ragni or Troms. However, Ancient Nemract was built after Ragni and Troms.
  • The Underworld Crypt dungeon is located in the middle of Ancient Nemract.
  • In the lore, it says Nemract fell after the Nether Portal was opened, and then rebuilt after the war. The fallen Nemract most likely refers to Ancient Nemract, as lots of monsters spawn there.
