*armouring A Limestone Core is a great addition to your recipe as it grants a large boost to defense, which in turn could allow you to allocate more skill points into dexterity.

*Tailoring A Ritual Catalyst paired with an Obelisk Core to the right will grant you 1 tier of attack speed and -1/4 or -2/4 mana steal. Since mana steal is, in fact, important in melee builds, you might want to add a Bottled Fairy to your recipe to counteract this. Throw in a Black Hole and you could potentially get 2 tiers of attack speed at the cost of 173 durability, a 75 dexterity minimum, and a -20 intelligence minimum, acting as an alternative for two Black Holes. You could also throw in Ironwood Chips or ingredients that increase durability for the last two slots.

Black Hole can be used in the Armouring and Tailoring professions. This ingredient grants your item 1 tier of attack speed at the cost of durability, a reduction in melee damage, and a 75 dexterity minimum to item with each Black Hole used. Using Black Hole can grant you great levels of attack speed when put across multiple pieces of armor, but its high dexterity minimum means that very little can be used on one piece of armor at a time.
