The Coalition Base is a hidden cave near Maex, which the player gains access to during the Dwarves and Doguns Part I quest. Inside, the coalition, a group of Dwarves and Doguns determined to make peace between their races, plans their next actions. All of the Quest NPCs can be found around the table in the center, while some non-quest NPCs can be found elsewhere in the base. Additionally, Korzim will spawn in a tunnel connected to the base near (1485, 15, -5480) to allow the player in through the base's south entrance. There is another exit at (1910, 20, -5245) which takes the player to the Upper Molten Heights at (1345, 110, -5450), but it cannot be used to reenter the base.

  • Kracken: This hideout was created by the Doguns in minutes, when it would have taken us days!
  • Kracken: They have the power to move the earth as they please. Far better than even our best mining equipment.

Trivia

  • In stage 11 of Dwarves and Doguns Part I, the base is attacked by The Dark Blade Guards, revealing their position. The base is therefore left unused in the later quests of the questline, although all of the NPCs there remain visible.
