Crowd Control Immunity, also called CCI, is a mechanic certain mobs have in Wynncraft that prevents them from being affected by hindering spells and effects.

Overview[]

Crowd control immunity comes in three separate categories that mobs can have any combination of: knockback, blindness, and slowness. Additionally, mobs can have differing degrees of resistance to a certain type of crowd control. Some mobs will be fully immune to them, while other mobs will only resist crowd control. These mobs will be vulnerable to crowd control until they are hit by a crowd control effect, in which the mob will then become immune to that effect for a short period of time. After that, the mob will become vulnerable again.

  • Red - permanently immune to this type of crowd control
  • Yellow - temporarily immune to this type of crowd control
  • Green - currently vulnerable to this type of crowd control

Knockback Immunity[]

Symbolized by a boxing glove, mobs with knockback immunity are not affected by knockback or displacement effects from spells or attacks.

Currently, all damage, main attacks and spells, counts as a source of knockback on mobs due to the small amount of knockback mobs receive when taking damage. The Wind Prison Powder Special is also blocked by knockback immunity.

Blindness Immunity[]

Symbolized with an eye with a slash through it, mobs with blindness immunity are not affected by spells that stun or render mobs unable to attack. Blinding effects also stun mobs, but they also force the mob to move in a random direction for a short period of time.

For each class, this includes the following spells and their grades:

  • Archer: Escape Grade III
  • Assassin: Spin Attack Grade II+
  • Mage: Teleport Grade III
  • Warrior: No Warrior spells have blindness effects.
  • Shaman: No Shaman spells have blindness effects.

Slowness Immunity[]

Symbolized by an hourglass, mobs with slowness immunity are not affected by slowing effects or spells that freeze mobs. Slowed or frozen mobs can still attack but cannot move.

For each class, this includes the following spells and their grades:

  • Archer: Bomb Arrow Grade II+
  • Assassin: Spin Attack Grade II+, Smoke Bomb Grade II+
  • Mage: Ice Snake Grade I+
  • Warrior: Bash Grade III
  • Shaman: Haul Grade III, Uproot Grade I+
