Dernic Parasite can be obtained by defeating various Rare Mobs found in the Silent Expanse. It can also be found in Loot Chests.

Usage[]
Dernic Parasite can be sold at a Blacksmith or from your Ingredient Pouch in exchange for Emeralds. It can also be traded to other players via the Trade Market or personal trading.
Crafting[]
Dernic Parasite can be used in the Cooking profession to grant a moderate amount of gathering XP bonus to the crafted food while lowering gathering speed. It also grants +1/3s mana steal, but has a heavy duration cost. Dernic Parasite is a useful ingredient for gathering XP foods, especially since its gathering speed penalty can be easily nullified by consuming a food with positive gathering speed first.
