Emeralds are the main currency of Wynncraft. They can be used to purchase item identifications, weapons, armour and many other goods.

Emeralds

Emerald Emeralds are the base currency of Wynncraft. Emeralds are a common drop from mobs and are found abundantly in Loot Chests and the Daily Reward chest. They are also gained through trading, breaking pots, completing dungeons, completing quests and converting Emerald Blocks.

Emerald Blocks

Emerald block An Emerald Block is made of 64 emeralds. The way they are usually obtained is through Emerald Merchants in banks; they compress 64 emeralds into one block. Blocks can also be acquired through trading, completing quests and converting Liquid Emeralds into blocks. Unlike in vanilla Minecraft, emerald blocks are not made of nine emeralds and cannot be crafted.

Experience bottle Liquid emeralds are the highest denomination of currency in Wynncraft. Liquid emeralds are obtained by converting 64 emerald blocks with the Liquid Emerald Merchant in Detlas, Almuj, Llevigar, Cinfras, Rodoroc, Ahmsord, Troms, Corkus City, Lutho or inside the Temple of the Legends. Pros:

  • can be time consuming (leveling up a class and then doing the quests)

Seavale Reef

Basically diving in the Seavale Reef with Breathing Helmet and selling found items to Treasure Merchant. Makes about 2Le/hour.

Prerequisites:

  • Accessible for low level players
  • Easy

Cons:

  • Low money output compared to other methods

Lootrunning

Usually a running through a route while opening chests with Loot Bonus/Quality identifications.

Crafting

Leveling up professions and crafting on request or supplying Trade Market with crafted items.

Prerequisites:

  • High level class - at least lv.100
  • Patience
  • Knowledge of popular crafting recipes

Pros:

  • Profitable

Cons:

  • Available to endgame players only
  • Professions need to be on lvl 100+ in order to make the method effective
  • Very long grind

Market flipping

Basically buying items on the Trade Market and selling them for higher price

  • Knowledge of popular items and their price

Cons:

  • High initial expenses
  • Luck based - finding good items and buying them in time
  • Might not be worth it (if the items do not sell)

Scrapping

Buying oak wood wands from Weapon Merchant in Ragni for 3e each, scrapping them at Blacksmith and selling the scrap on the Trade Market for about 13e each.

Pros:

  • Easy
  • Cheap
  • Accessible for low level players

Cons:

  • Repetitive and not fun
