Lost in the Jungle is a medium level 62 quest that begins in the Jungle Village and progresses into the Dernel Jungle.

Gracen requests the player to help find his son Aryn and the Mysterious Gemstone in the Dernel Jungle.

Stage 1

» Talk to Gracen in the Jungle Village.

Dialogue:

• Gracen: Listen, kid. I don't know what you're doing here, but I don't have time to listen to your problems.
• Gracen: Oh, you're here to help me? Thank god, I could really use it.
• Gracen: My son, Aryn. He loves to explore the Dernel Jungle, the jungle south of here. He stays safe and unseen, so it's usually of no concern.
• Gracen: And then one day, he brought home a weird purple gem. It didn't seem to be an issue at first.
• Gracen: a few days later, I found him in his room, talking to someone... but there was no one there. Things started getting weird around the house.
• Gracen: Then one day, I wake up, and he's not there. I figured he went exploring again, but he didn't come back at the end of the day.
• Gracen: I looked all over town and I decided Aryn had truly disappeared. I don't know where he went.
• Gracen: It won't do me any good to sit around to sit around waiting for him to come back, but I don't know where to look. Dernel is an extremely dangerous ancient jungle.
• Gracen: I doubt you'll have any luck, but see if you can find him and that purple gem. He's probably in the Dernel Jungle, but I don't know where.
• Gracen: Say, that trail seems to match the glow of the gem Aryn found. Maybe it'll take you to him.

Stage 2

» Follow the trail until you stand in front of a temple. Go inside.

Dialogue:

• Aryn: W-who'd there? Please, go away. There's something dangerous in here. Sto-
• Aryn? DO NOT RESIST, BOY! YOUR BODY IS MINE. I WAS TRAPPED IN THAT STONE FOR MILLENIA, AND NOW I AM FREE.
• Aryn P-please, stop. Whoever else is here, please, help me!

Stage 3

» Obtain the Mysteriouse Gemstone by killing Possessed Aryn.

Dialogue:

• Aryn?: Oh! The body of this warrior is far better suited to my needs, I think I will take it, but first I must use the childs body to weaken it.
• You realize you should probably make sure Aryn is all right before continuing.
• Aryn: What happened? Who are you?
• Aryn: I think there was a ghost... or something. I can't remember much of it now.
• Aryn: I guess my dad probably sent you to come looking for me. He must be really worried.
• Aryn: Could you take this gem back to him for me? I think it's too dangerous.
• Aryn: I'd come with you, but I'm still a little shaky from the whole ghost thing.
• Aryn: Tell my dad I'll be home when my legs start working again.

Stage 4

» Bring back the Mysterious Gemstone to Gracen.

Dialogue:

• Gracen: Oh my... Aryn was possessed by a spirit residing within the gemstone?
• Gracen: How shameful... our shaman has never been wrong before, why did I disregard his warning...
• Gracen: But that is beside the point. You say you have destroyed the spirit and it does not feel tainted any longer, so I will trust you.
• Gracen: Looking at it now, this is actually quite a valuable stone. If ground to dust, it can be used in potent herbal remedies.
• Gracen: Here, allow me to grind this down for you. You can keep the dust for whatever purposes you made need it for in the future.
• Gracen: Whether you use it for yourself, or have charity and use it to help others, I am sure you deserve such a reward far more than I do.
• Gracen: Our tribe... and especially myself... we thank you for your service. We shall consider you one of our own, from this day forward.
