The Skeleton Dungeon was a dungeon that existed prior to the 1.14.1 Gameplay Update, at which point it was reworked into the Decrepit Sewers.

Overview

The Skeleton dungeon was the lowest level dungeon, with the recommended level being 9, however the player should not try to solo the dungeon until they were at least level 18.

This dungeon was once an entrance to Ragni's sewers. Since then, the sewers have been infested by thousands of Silverfish, rendering this entrance unusable. With time, it slowly became full of skeletons, looking for a dark and empty cave to call home.

Guide

Phase 1

The first phase was just an easy parkour, you ran along some water while making a few jumps until you reached the second phase.

Phase 2

The second phase was a small puzzle, all you had to do was power both the 2 wooden pressure plates by throwing an item onto them, the pressure plates were located in two of the cells in the room, marked with emerald blocks.

Phase 3

You had to run and swim through a tight corridor until you got to the next room, but you had to watch out, because there were some really strong mobs in there. When you were playing with Mage/Warrior you had to try using your Teleport/Charge spell. This way, you'd get out safe and fast.

Phase 4

The fourth phase was a small parkour, it may have seemed easy, but when you fell off, you'd need to swim up a long waterfall, which could take long. However, waterfalls allowed you to skip the parkour and just climb up to the boss room. It was faster to do the parkour, but if you kept falling you may wanted to swim up

Phase 5

The fifth room was just a small battle area, and would lead to the boss-room door, as a Warrior you could easily get to the other side by spamming Charge.

Boss Phase

In this room, the boss (Wither Skeleton) and some rats (Silverfish) would spawn. After killing the boss, you'd get teleported outside the Dungeon and receive a reward. The boss was a Ranged boss called the "Witherhead", which is level 15, and dealt lots of damage to low level players, so hiding behind some of the obstacles in the room could be a good strategy.

Video Walkthrough

NOTE: The player in this walkthrough is a HIGH LEVEL, and makes combat more simple. If you are attempting this dungeon at level 9-20, be careful as mobs will be harder to kill and have more hp.
